Jack is a programmer sent by Hyperion to observe the planet of Pandora. During construction of Helios station, Jack spent a lot of time on the planet itself, as well as Elpis. Under his boss’ nose, Jack began his own projects; harvesting the eye from the Destroyer, mining Eridium to sell and using the slag by-product for experimentations, and hiring Vault Hunters to assist him in opening the Vault on Elpis. Using his influence, Jack places contacts and allies anywhere he can; The Meriff in Concordia (as well as helping Moxxi open a bar there while they were still dating), paying off informants on Pandora, etc.

Everything during the events of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! The Timeline between the end of the game and up to the Claptastic DLC will be included here (Jack’s now Handsome Jack, but he’s not quite CEO. He’s slowly working on buying out the company with the money he’s making from the vault on Elpis and the Eridium on Pandora, and killing anyone who get’s in his way. He’s kept the vault hunters on his payroll, letting them stay on Helios if they choose to– and has started dating Nisha.)

Everything after the events of TPS! (Claptastic DLC) and up to BL2. (Jack now has the H-Source and has murdered and blackmailed his way to becoming CEO. Only Wilhelm, Tim and Nisha have stayed with him, and he begins to carry out his quest to burn Pandora to the ground and build it up anew in his own image. Designing super weapons, opening Eriduim mines, beginning drilling operations, his city of Opportunity, finding the vault key on Tannis, New Haven– everything begins here, now that he has the power and the means to do them. And it will only get worse as time goes on.)
